Well folks the shop is open, oh and don't mind that over there those are just the broken hearts from teams that dropped guys like Terrelle Pryor or Jordan Howard in haste to just "make a move". I always try and stress to you, deciding who to drop is just as important as who you are picking up and if who you are picking up is worth a waiver claim. So before we go all crazy and rush to drop a player take the time to look at where your team needs the most improvement.
As is the case every week I still have gold left on the shelves, so take your time check around and if you have any questions I’ll be over here @1littleindianjd on twitter or @1littleindian on the Fantasy Life App.
Another bears game down and yet again Alshon was not the leading receiver, surprise, surprise. I'm not blaming Alshon here. But with Kevin white possibly missing time or not playing at 100% and Hoyer continuing to chuck the rock this may mean continued work for Royal. While Royal is likely to be a flex play over weekly WR2 with the bye weeks coming on quickly he is a worthy add this week. Eddie Royal is only 9.1% owned and has shown he is worthy of a roster spot in all formats.
While Sammy Watkins is on the IR Woods will be the top option on the bills and while it is the bills every team has to move the ball down the field so the opportunity is there for woods to step up. Woods will continue to see the ball come his way and can't surely become a full in for bye weeks. With 7 receptions for 89 yards he will be used heavily in the passing game for the Bills. Robert Woods is only owned in 10.7% of leagues add him now before it’s too late.
With Justin Forsett’s roster spot up in the air the Dixon hype may be proving it's more than just hype. While the reports are that Dixon will be slowed into action remember all roster additions are meant to help season long and by week 8 or 9 Dixon is likely the starter and out snapping the rest of the backfield. As we saw in the preseason Dixon has the tools of a work horse so don't miss your chance if he's out there. Dixon is just 20.8% owned and with the release of Forsett get on board this hype train if you can.
Well as a Giants fan I took 1 good thing away from last night. That thing is Paul Perkins ability to work out of the backfield. With Vereen done for the season and as in years past the backfield being a committee, Perkins is a worthy stash no matter the league size. Perkins is just 3% owned and with Vereen out he is a great stash and his workload will increase in the coming weeks.
Well it's that time again to mention the chargers WR who may be replacing Kennan Allen. Yes I know it seems like an eternity since that injury occurred but it's only been 3 weeks, and in every week since then a different receiver has looked like they are the prettiest girl at the bar. While he won’t be relied on immediately to be a consistent plug and play in your lineup, if he can continue to get open he will remain a possible flex option especially in deeper formats. Inman is 0.8% owned and is worthy of a stash on your roster.
With Chris Johnson undergoing sports hernia surgery, it seems there is a new nadcuff in town. Well Bruce Arians didn’t show much love to Ellington in 2015 it seems that he may get some work even if just to relieve a tired David Johnson. I’m not saying he’s going to take DJ’s job or anything, as the RB position becomes more depleted he is worth a speculative add if you have roster space. Andre Ellington is 1.2% currently while those numbers won’t skyrocket Wednesday they will definitely see an uptick.
Well another week in the nooks add the shelves here are still full of great finds. Remember to stop by the FLAFFL house chat on the Fantasy Life App, we will be there to help ease the stress of all those roster decisions.Well those are my favourites for Week 5, as always may all you waiver add’s turn to gold.
