The Pawn Shop: Week 11 Edition

By Jason Donio (@1littleindianjd)

With week 10 in the books, most leagues have three weeks left in the playoff push.  Now is the time to take a look at what you need, not only for now but for the coming weeks. It could be an added depth piece or someone you can plug right into your starting lineup. Whatever the case there is always someone who fits the bill on the wire. So, let’s check out a few of my favourites around the Pawn Shop this week.

Marqise Lee, WR – Jacksonville Jaguars

If you are lucky enough to be in a league where Lee is still available he is a great addition to any playoff contender.  Also good for any team that needs additional WR depth. With A touchdown and 14 receptions in the last two games, Lee should keep that rolling in week 11 when the Jaguars get a match up against the winless Browns. The Jags have a decent schedule leading to the playoffs and a match up with the 49ers championship week. Lee is owned in 42.6% of leagues and is a great addition for a playoff run.

Rod Smith, RB – Dallas Cowboys

While it looks like there will be some form of committee while Zeke is out, Rod Smith looked great in his first shot with a decent amount of touches. Smith showed he can run the ball as well as catch it out of the back field. He is a welcome stash for a team already locked into the playoffs. Smith is only owned in 14.5% of leagues, hopefully yours is in the 85.5%.

Elijah McGuire, RB – New York Jets

With Matt Forte down for multiple weeks and Bilal Powell leaving a lot to be desired, Elijah McGuire will continue to get a decent volume of touches. McGuire has shown flashes throughout the season and now with an extended opportunity he will look to make the most of it. He outgained and out touched Powell in week 10 and I expect that to continue going forward. McGuire is owned in 14.8% of leagues and should be added in all formats.

Dontrelle Inman, WR – Chicago Bears

It looks like he finally found somewhere he can get an extended look. While buried in the chargers deep WR core, he wasn’t getting the opportunity. In Chicago on the other hand, he will get opportunity a plenty as they struggled to find a reliable receiver. Inman can be a great addition to any WR needy team as he will see plenty of targets in the coming weeks. He aslo has a prime matchup against the Browns championship weekend. Inman is owned in 0.7% of leagues so add him if you are looking for a WR stash.

Well folks, those are some my favourite gems this week.  Always remember, who you drop is just as important as who to add.  So stop by the FLAFFL House on all social media and we can help you out with all those decisions. As always: may all you waiver adds turn to gold!
