DraftKings Week 13 Outlook

It's me. It's me. It's that C H E Z. Back again with the DK Outlook. As we do every week, we look back at last week's calls...

Week 12 Recap
I had an article written, it was a really good one, I thought it was sent in, but you know technology happened. The quarterbacks I highlighted were Drew Brees, Colin Kaepernick, and *cough cough* Russell Wilson. I also had a bold call about Amari Cooper... that went well.

I had a solid Week 12, thanks to some Saints stacks. Unfortunately some of them were with Brandin Cooks. Here's my favorite nugget of the week... https://twitter.com/chrismeaney/status/803098079247400960

Since my article didn't make it last week, I can use all this again! Hopefully we make it to the site this week.

Normally I just use stats I come across from fftoday.com and the DraftKings site, but this week, I’m using a smart person site, footballoutsiders.com Yeah go smarticles!

Alright Jack, let's just cut the crap and get down to brass tacks here.
If you know what movie that’s from, I love you.

Enough of my silly jokes…Let’s make some https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Fabulous_Moolah !

Quarterbacks
Drew Brees ($7,600 vs DET) "Death, taxes, and Drew Brees at home are the only things you can count on nowadays. I’m not screwing around this week. Drew Brees will be my cash quarterback." That's what I wrote last week. DVOA has the Lions as the worst team defense, and worst against the pass, and second worst against short passes. In 5 career games against the Lions, Brees averages 346 yards and has 16 touchdowns to just 2 interceptions.

Colin Kaepernick ($6,100 @ CHI) "He may kneel for the National Anthem, he may not vote, he may look like Squidward https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cv90ZXjOhhU he may not have won a game October 18th, 2015, he may have a ridiculous afro, but he has been a solid fantasy quarterback since regaining the starting job from THE BLAINE TRAIN. Since getting the job back in Week 6, he has hit 3x value in each game. He leads quarterbacks in yards per rushing attempt." I said that all last week too. Bears rank 23rd in DVOA pass defense.

Matt Barkley ($5,000 vs SF) I kind of like the other side also… I’ve had quite the success rostering Bears QBs this season, so why not go back to the well. The 49ers allow the 4th most DraftKings points to opposing quarterbacks, and with the current state of the Bears, they will likely need to be throwing quite a bit. He looked really solid last week. Not a bad play at minimum price.

Running Backs
David Johnson ($9,500 vs WAS) Coming off a down week with just 13 carries for 58 yards he may be under-owned. That was a joke... he did have those totals in addition to an 8-103-1 line receiving. Washington's run defense is 29th in DVOA so lock and load David ******* Johnson.

Jordan Howard ($6,900 vs SF) So running backs against San Francisco. Jordan Howard had 21 of 24 running back touches in week 12. DVOA has the 49ers as the worst run defense (shocker). They give up the most DraftKings points to opposing running backs. Jordan Howard is the only good player left on this. I expect 20+ touches and in this matchup, you can't beat that.

Theo Riddick ($5,800 @ NO) I feel like I write up Riddick he's on the main slate. In 8 of 9 games he has 6+ DraftKings points just from receiving numbers. The Saints rank 29th in DVOA against pass catching running backs. One more thing I like about Theo Riddick, he's from the great state of New Jersey.

Wide Receivers
Amari Cooper ($7,300 vs BUF) This is a juicy spot. Everyone got burned by him last week, so nobody is going to want to use him. The Bills rank last against wide receiver 1s. Bills are also below average against the deep ball. My bold Cooper call last week was 300 yards. I don't think that happens this week, but it's possible.

DeAndre Hopkins ($6,000 @ GB) We all know how dreadful the Packers secondary is, so I think this is the week to go with this stud. I never roster him, but the Packers rank 29th against WR1s. He's hit 3x just once this year. He's still getting targets. I think he's too good to only have one great game in a season.

Sammy Watkins ($5,500 @ OAK) Sammy Watkins is really good. He hadn't played since Week 2, and in his return he hauled in all 3 of his targets for 80 yards. He will play more snaps this week, he will have more catches this week. The Raiders are just average against WR1s, and rank 24th in pass defense. Really good player at this price gotta jump on it.

Tight Ends
Jimmy Graham ($5,500 vs CAR) There aren't many tight ends who have hit 5x 3 times this year. Actually there probably isn't any. Graham has had 3+ catches and 30+ yards in each game since Week 2. Panthers rank 20th in DVOA against tight ends. He should smash in this spot.

Vernon Davis ($3,300 @ ARI) This is a bad matchup, but if Reed sits Davis is in line for big time usage. In the two games Reed sat this season, Davis had 13.9 and 13 DraftKings points.

Will Tye ($3,000 @ PIT) A lot of people were on Tye last week (myself included) and he boasted 3 DraftKings points. The Steelers rank 22nd in DraftKings points allowed to tight ends. Combine that with 'Will Tye' and 'Bill Nye' https://youtu.be/UtVJdPfm0F8 and you're looking at a spicy tight end play. Bill Nye the Science Guy? No no, Will Tye the Giants Guy!

Defenses
Denver Broncos ($3,900 @ JAX) Playing the Broncos defense is always a good idea. Streaming against Blake Bortles is also a good idea. Pair them together and eat up the fantasy points.

Philadelphia Eagles ($3,100 @ CIN) Before I even say anything, just know that we should all have 80% exposure to Broncos defense. Dalton and bunch of injured bums. Fire up one of the best defenses in the league.

San Diego Chargers ($2,900 vs TB) The Chargers defense has 6 interceptions in their last 4 games and now get Jameis Winston who at the moment probably thinks he's the best quarterback of all time after beating the Seahawks. Mr. Bosa remove him from his high horse.
